The manuscript contained 43 pages written by the author’s ( May Allah rest his soul) hand. He classified them in holy Najaf in 1322 H. as he mentioned that at its end. The manuscript is in an excellent condition with clear writing. After Basmelah ( in the name of God, the most Gracious, the most Merciful) the study starts with “ thanks to God who honored us with poetry … etc”. Then, the author divides the study topic into a preface, two requirements, and a complementation. The preface has four introductions: prosody definition, its subject, its purpose, and its establisher. The first requirement was about the principles. It included the principle meaning, the difference between poetry and prose, the principle parts. The second requirement was concerned with prosody that has no changes. It has some points. The first is about scanning. The second is about the famous meters. The third is about the standard in prosody and verses. The fourth is devoted to changing and ordering meters. The fifth is about the standard and the variety of meters and measures. The sixth is concerned with ordering contrived meters and classifying them. They are ten. The double meter of two different bases that have one hundred images. He chose twenty meters, the created meters and there are also. The seven matter is about deconstructing meters mentioning the meters groups. Finally, in measure obstacles, these are the poet’s permission and restricted permissions. It has four sections. The first is about the wisdom of permission reasons. The second is concerned with vowels and the way of its recognition. The third is in limiting the permissions. The fourth is in explaining the permissions, then he mentioned ten uses and ended the study. The author has amendments to his speech where he proved them all in the verification. When he ended, he put his stamp and date of publication, that was in 1322 H. in Najaf of Al Imear ( p.b.u.h.).
