- Abstract:
The introduction concerning particle tracking algorithms and velocity estimation methods on unstructured grids is limited to methods developed by Cordes and Kinzelbach ([1]). By using the absolute coordinate system, the authors unfortunately provide the estimation of the path deviation depending on the coordinate system itself. The artifact on the path calculation observed in the simple rectangular grid block is present and amplified in the other presented case studies - Figures 5 and 6 of the paper.
