The study of urban poverty in the city of Kufa is one of the important studies that discuss and analyze the indicators related to the phenomenon of urban poverty, as the study dealt with the factors that led to the spread of this phenomenon in the urban area of the city, was the forefront of these factors population increase that is inconsistent with the reality of service as well as increase The size of the family as a result of the dominance of tribal and tribal systems, and the emergence of social problems such as begging at the main traffic junctions, crime cases and drug abuse, in addition to the family and social disintegration, which led to the emergence of the problem of divorce. (Economic, educational, physical, health, water, electric power, sewage and garbage removal) for the purpose of spatial variation of the phenomenon of urban poverty analysis and come up with a number of scientific findings and a set of recommendations directed the stakeholders relevant in order to take some necessary decisions and measures that limit the spread of the phenomenon of urban poverty now and in the future.
