      The article provides suggestions for interpreting immune markers of early labor and also focuses on treatment options to reduce the risk of preterm birth related to environmental exposures. It mentions that premature labor was more common among women living in areas with high levels of two drinking water contaminants, arsenic and nitrate. It informs that when a women becomes pregnant her body releases chemicals that keep immune cells from attacking embryo's cells as foreign invaders.
