For years, other industries have used a so-called executive dashboard to help them keep track of internal data. Many hospitals already measure their performance in certain key areas every quarter. Now health care organizations are also looking at these dashboard devices, also known as key performance indicators (KPIs) to help ensure that diverse, key objectives are monitored.
