Designing a Professional Development Group for Leader-Learners Enrolled in Graduate Education Graduate education produces many of the world's leaders, researchers, and policymakers (Walker, Golde, Jones, Conklin Bueschel, & Hutchings, [4]; Wendler et al., [5]). However, some begin graduate education with abundant work experience making them adept leaders while creating tension between roles of student and leader.
