Tomorrow night, Elton John will perform for the first time ever at Radio City Music Hall in New York. While seats can be had for as little as $69.50, 700 of the best ones are going for $1,000. The lucky ticket holders will attend a postconcert gala at the Rainbow Room, where they will dine with Sir Elton and opera great Renee Fleming. Rather than lining Elton's pocket, proceeds from the evening will go in part to The Juilliard School, whose students will accompany the singer. Juilliard is hoping to collect a cool million while getting its name out to audience members who may have never given classical music much consideration.
