- Abstract:
Objective: Based on the personality assessment of Uygur and Han people in Urumqi and Kashgar. the relationship between social development and personality distribution of Uygur and Han people was preliminarily discussed. Methods:The Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) was used to assess the personality characteristics of general population of Uygur and Han in Urumqi and Kashgar. and 585 valid questionnaires were obtained, among which 295 persons [ 160 Uygur and 135 Han; average age (38 ± 10) years] living in Urumqi. 290 persons [ 165 Uygur and 125 Han; average age (35 ±9) years] in Kashgar. Results:The scores of F, Pd. Sc, Ma and Pa of Uygur and Han people in Urumqi area were higher than those in Kashgar area (P$ <0. 05). The D scores of Uygur people in Urumqi and Kashgar were higher than that of Han nationality, while the Pd scores of Han people was higher than that of Uygur people (Ps <0. 05). Conclusion: This study suggests that social development may have a shaping effect on personality traits of the population, but this conclusion needs further data to support. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

目的:在新疆乌鲁木齐市(简称乌市) 与喀什市两地选取维汉人群完成人格测评,初步探 索社会发展与人群人格特点分布变化的关系。方法:采用明尼苏达多相人格量表对维吾尔族、汉族普通人 群进行测试,有效问卷585份,乌市地区295人[维吾尔族160人,汉族135人;平均年龄(38±10) 岁];喀什地区290人[维吾尔族165人,汉族125人;平均年龄(35±9) 岁]。结果:乌市地区维汉人 群F、pd、Sc、Ma、Pa等量表分均高于喀什地区(P<0.05或P<0.001);乌市与喀什地区维吾尔族人群 的D分均高于汉族(P<0.01或P<0.001),而汉族人群的Pd分均高于维吾尔族(P<0.05或P< 0.001)。结论:本研究提示社会发展对人群人格特点可能存在塑造作用,但这一结论需进一步数据来佐证。 [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
