    • Abstract:
In the June issue of I Nephrology i , Wilson I et al. i [1] presented a review article summarizing the nature and contributing factors of neurocognitive decline in the haemodialysis (HD) population. Past studies have shown decreased cerebral blood flow in HD patients.[2] It was crucial to determine if this translates into microcirculatory hypoperfusion and worse tissue oxygenation. Tissue ischemia worsens during hemodialysis in end-stage renal disease patients. [Extracted from the article]
