    • Abstract:
Optimized thickness of Zinc sulfide thin films are prepared using nebulizer spray pyrolysis technique. The Zinc sulfide thin films were coated onto glass substrate at 450°C by changing volume of concentration as 5ml, 8ml and 10ml X-ray diffraction measurements results shown the films structural properties influence the thickness of film. The films showed band gap ranging from 3.72 to 3.15 eV depending on volume of solution with corresponding thickness. The refractive index from 2.17 to 2.3 is calculated using Tripathy and Herve-Vandamme (HV) Relation for corresponding band gaps. In this experimental work point out that the effect of structural property on the optical properties such as transmission, reflectivity and absorption. Optimized thickness of the ZnS thin film coating is desirable as a anti reflection coating in the solar cell. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
