Aim: The purpose of this research is to investigate the mental resilience of teachers in primary education. Method: Ιn the survey 171 teachers participated, who completed the questionnaire, comprised of the record of individual, socio-demographic and work characteristics, from the EPQ Adult Personality Scale and from the CD-RISC Resilience Scale. Results: The results showed that teachers' mental resilience is very high. In addition, three predictive factors were found to increase mental resilience. In particular, it was found that the years of professional teacher' training and the characteristic of the EPQ Adult Personality Scale, along with extroversion, were significantly positively related to the overall score of the CD-RISC Resilience Scale. In particular, the longer the years of service and the higher the levels of extroversion, the more the mental resilience of teachers increases. It was also found that the characteristic of the Adult Personality Scale EPQ, neuroticism, was significantly negatively related to the overall score of the CD-RISC Resistance Scale. In particular, the lower the levels of neuroticism, the more the mental resilience of teachers increases. Conclusions: In conclusion, three predictive factors of psychological resilience, which account for 36.5% of the overall mental resilience of teachers, were found to be a significant percentage to continue its investigation and efforts to be further its strengthened.
