The article highlights claims of Saint Thomas Aquinas, an Italian Dominican friar which related to theology and philosophy. Topics discussed include views of Thomas Aquinas on unnecessary constriction of Catholic thought; the work of John Duns Scotus, an author who distinguishes between presence and transubstantiation; and the significance of transubstantiation which defines Christ's body under the species of bread and receiving spiritual food.
