      The article offers author's experience of his teaching work and relating it with the riding a bicycle. Topics discussed include experience of attending NCETM regional residential training that has proposed a particular view of variation as being either procedural or conceptual; and relates it to good quality balance bike which is the object that teaches a child how to use his or her natural powers of body balance to control a bicycle because children are invited to focus on balancing.
