      The article presents information on appointments and promotions among library personnel. Gail Barton becomes head of interlibrary loans and document delivery at Auburn University in Alabama. Kenneth Burhanna is promoted to dean of university libraries at Kent State University in Ohio. Chi Wang receives a tribute in the "Congressional Record" for his work expanding the Chinese collection at the Library of Congress.
