The article discusses how the U.S. can beat China's global influence campaign, as of April 2019. Topics discussed include the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), a development strategy adopted by the Chinese government involving infrastructure development and investments in 152 countries and international organizations in Europe, Asia, Middle East, Latin America and Africa; act of the U.S. to create the International Development Finance Corp. (IDFC); and need of the U.S. to better align its commercial and development goals with its foreign policy in the developing world.
