    • Abstract:
The article discusses books and authors. Writer Edward Levinson, in his book "Labor on the March" has written a notable record of the rise and development of the Committee for Industrial Organization (C.I.O.). The movement is connected with the past by a short but complete sketch of the history of organized labor from the Knights of Labor to the rise of the opposition within the American Federation of Labor. The chapter on The National Recovery Administration(NRA)--An Opportunity Lost is of special importance for an understanding of the immediate events which led to the division in the tanks.
