    • Abstract:
This article presents information on the book "The Anatomy of Power," by Bertrand Russell. According to the author of this article, Russell has explored the closely connected fields of learning, that of abstract philosophical and mathematical theory and that of social analysis and philosophy. This book on power over men is not only important because he offers any striking solution for the problems of human society but because he subjects all proposed solutions to a withering scrutiny of glorified common sense. The basic character of the will-to-power in man is recognized in terms of such thoroughgoing realism that one wonders just how far new and more realistic insights have corroded the pacifist convictions of Russell.
