      The article discuss the role of enhancing natural killer (NK) cells in multiple sclerosis (MS). Topics discussed include pathogenesis of MS that is driven by adaptive immune system (IS), and autoreactive myelin-specific CD4+ T cells; role of NK cells as effector cells with antitumoral and anti-viral activity; and scientific evidence that CD56bright subset of NK cells have immunoregulatory role important to maintain homeostatic immune responses.
