The article discusses a pedagogic model for voice teachers which involves use of familiar Italian Songs and Arias in teaching. Topics covered include the advantage of incorporating music theory into private lessons, a list of topics and questions to begin conversations with students, and resources teachers may consult in order to clarify or refresh terminology.
