      Drawing on the brief descriptions of the historic events in the Slovak mass media 'The Gamatex Case' (1998), 'The Presstitutes Case' (2008), '#AllForJan' (2018), the author observes the narratives accompanying these events in the field of communication between the media, politicians and the public. The content analysis of these narratives (both professional and layman) finally illustrates their common denominator- a discourse of media normalization, its character and manifestations.
