THE IMPACT OF THE 2012 PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS ON THE NATIONALIZATION OF THE PARTY SYSTEM OF UKRAINE. (English)
    • Abstract:
The article assesses the level of nationalization of the party system of Ukraine in 2012. The analysis was carried out using three methodological approaches to defining the index of the nationalization of the party system of the country, in particular, M. Jonesand, S. Mainwaring, G. Golosov and I. Grigoriev, author’s approach. During the study, it was found that the state of party nationalization in 2012 was characterized as being within the above average. It has been determined that the experience of political actors regarding the uniform coverage of the territories has influenced the fact that they provided sufficiently high party nationalization. It is proved that the actual state of party nationalization was due to the influence of a number of factors, among which, in particular, the effect of: the electoral system; state form of government; political regime; ethnic factors. It is noted that despite the rather high party nationalization, the actions of these factors created the uniformity of the support of the pro–government political forces, which made it possible for competitive participation in electoral processes of other political forces.
