      The article offers information on the trends of enrollment in the Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), a U.S. federal social insurance program for non-elderly disabled workers and their dependents. Several factors affecting SSDI enrollment are discussed including labor force participation of women, change of the full retirement age (FRA), and the national unemployment rate.
