Effectiveness of an educational program based on the skills of thinking pivotal in the achievement and of female students of the Faculty of Education for Girls at the University of Kufa. (English)
- Abstract:
Based on this, the research has the following two objectives: 1- Building an educational program based on the skills of thinking pivotal in the electrical and magnetic students of the Department of Physics 2- Know the effectiveness of the program in: Collection. To achieve the goals of the research, the researcher developed two zero hypotheses according to the variables of achievement and mental capacity. Assumptions of collection -There was no statistically significant difference at the level of significance (5 0,0) between the average score of students of the experimental group who studied according to the educational program and the average score of students of the control group who studied according to the usual method of collection. Hypothesis of mental capacity -There was no statistically significant difference at the level of (0,05) between the average score of the students of the experimental group who studied according to the educational program and the average score of the students of the control group who studied according to the normal method of mental capacity. In order to achieve the objectives of research and verification of these hypotheses, the researcher prepared all the research tools and tools: 1- Building an educational program based on pivotal thinking skills. 2- Teaching plans for the two research groups to teach the content taught in the material of electricity and magnetism. 3- Achievement test in physics is composed of (50) substantive and transitional. The researcher verified the validity and application of the sample on a sample survey calculated stability, discrimination, difficulty and effectiveness of alternatives. The validity of the test and its vertebrae, and the application of the test according to the stability of the test and the coefficient of discrimination of paragraphs and difficulty. The current research was limited to the students of the first stage - Physics Department - College of Education for Girls - University of Kufa, and the eight experiments in the field of electrical and magnetic field of theoretical and practical for the academic year (2017-2018). The researcher used experimental design with partial control of the equal groups of two groups (60) students were divided into two groups, one of which was randomly selected (in the lottery method), 1 - A to represent the experimental group, 30 students were enrolled according to the educational program, and the other 2 - B - to represent the control group. It included 30 students who studied medicine Of normal, age groups were rewarded with temporal variables, intelligence, previous test information and test mental capacity. A total of 168 behavioral goals were set for these experiments, and the study plans were prepared (14) study plans (7) teaching plans for the experimental group and (7) teaching plans for the control group. The experiment was applied in the academic year (2017-2018) and began Experience on 11/2/2018 And ended on 5/2018, and the data were processed statistically "using the statistical bag and the testing of the two independent samples, the results of the research showed the following: First: - Results related to collection 1- The students of the experimental group, who studied according to the educational program, exceeded the students of the control group who studied according to the usual method of collection.. The students of the experimental group who studied on the basis of the educational program exceeded the students of the control group who studied according to the usual method of mental capacity. In light of the results of the research, the researcher recommended the use of the educational program in the teaching of electrical and magnetic laboratory material because of its effectiveness in raising the level of achievement and activate the mental capacity of students. In addition to the research, the researcher suggested conducting studies that reveal the effectiveness of an educational program based on pivotal thinking skills in teaching other subjects such as mechanics, atomic, nuclear and optics, and on different samples and other stages of study such as the second, third and fourth stages of the physics department. And a descriptive study to determine the level of mental capacity among students of the physics department in the faculties of education compared to the students of the physics department in the faculties of science To the correct scientific method and sound methods in contemporary human thinking. Although pivotal thinking skills are important as one of the important types of thinking skills, most of the research on these skills as a dependent variable is not an independent variable. The importance of the present research in being an objective response to what educators are advocating at present is the need to employ educational programs and thinking skills to work on.
