      The article discusses the survey conducted by modern day ecologists on how birds are adapting climate change by following the tracks of biologist Joseph Grinnell in 1910. It mentions that the participants of the Grinnel Resurvey Project used the 74,000 pages of notes on birds and other wildlife that Grinnel had amassed to determine adaptability of birds. Findings of the project which determined the flexibility of birds and their ability to track suitable climate by colonizing areas are offered. INSET: Climate-smart conservation.
