The article offers information on the Apprenticeship and Non-Traditional Employment for Women (ANEW) aimed to provide quality training, employment navigation and supportive services leading to successful wage careers. It report that ANEW was founded in 1980 by women dedicated to improving access and advancement into non-traditional career paths, and is the oldest, continuously running pre-apprenticeship program in the U.S.
