      Julia Jordan, a librettist and playwright who has enjoyed four full New York City productions in the last 12 months, and Laurence O' Keefe, the composer-lyricist for the Off-Broadway tuner "Bat Boy," have won the 14th annual Kleban Awards, which celebrate excellence in musical theatre writing. Both Jordan and O'Keefe are rising industry stars. Jordan has seen her profile broadening exponentially of late, with four plays produced on local stages. O'Keefe, like Jordan, comes to his Kleban win for lyrics with an equally impressive list of credits.
