The article refers to the drug discovery and development for treatment for cancer. Topics discussed include propranolol, lowered blood pressure but also shrank the cancer tumor, propranolol was also an effective treatment for patients with angiosarcoma, a rare cancer of the blood vessels; and Pan Pantziarka, an oncologist with the nonprofit Anticancer Fund received—orphan drug status in the European Union.
