      Events at the Library + Information Show, to be held at ExCel, London on April 21, 2004 and April 22, 2004 will include the following, Opening the Book director Rachel Van Riel explores issues surrounding the pressure libraries are under and the development of online services. Fiona O' Brien of LLDA, Andrew Lewis, an e-services officer and Daryl Rayner of x-refer consider the role of library and information staff as "gateways" to online information. Felicity Heyworth of the Information Centre about Asylum and Refugees in Great Britain and Helen Carpenter of London Libraries Development Agency will discuss ways in which school and public libraries can encourage and facilitate the integration of refugees into their new communities.
