      This paper analyzes the moriscos of Ocaña (Toledo) at the end of XVI century through the information provided by the juicio de residencia to don Alonso de Granada Venegas, governor of the district La Mancha and Ribera del Tajo, belonging to Castile province of the Military Order of Santiago. In this trial several witnesses accused him of having been partial and not having punished as he owed the offenses of the moriscos. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
