    • Abstract:
An editorial is presented which addresses the authors' views about the communication of various public health issues during the 2016 U.S. presidential campaign, and it mentions how then-American presidential candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton rarely discussed public health topics during the 2016 campaign. Issues such as mental health and health care costs in America are examined, along with children's health care and the U.S. Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
