    • Abstract:
An editorial is presented on the burden carried by women in cases of sexual assault, violence, or harassment. It expresses the view that the default reaction in sexual assault or harassment cases must be to trust the victim because of the courage they mustered to stand up and express their detriment, especially against men who hold a position of power. The difficulty of proving sexual assault in a court of law is discussed.
