- Abstract: The article presents a comparison of the health benefits of old and new food products, as suggested by registered dietitian Christy Brissette, which include extreme dieting to be replaced by flexitarian diet, artisanal sauererkraut by natto, and coconut oil by avocado oil. Other outdated foods listed by Brissette include almond flour, microgreens, and turmeric, while other new food options include cassava flour, baby quinoa, and ginger.
