Public health specialists say that five hundred million poor people in sub-Saharan Africa, Asia and Latin America are being gradually poisoned by exposure to aflatoxins. Yun Yun Gong, food toxicologist at Queen University Belfast, examined aflatoxin exposure in the world by observing blood biomarkers in humans.
