Voy a referirme a los retos que tiene planteados el sindicalismo europeo ante la crisis que vive la UE, posiblemente la más profunda desde el inicio de su camino hace 60 años. Procuraré situar el análisis en el marco de los desafíos de la crisis del sindicalismo, derivada, entre otros factores, del hecho de no haber encontrado todavía el modo de hacer frente con suficiente eficacia al modelo neoliberal de la segunda gran globalización del capitalismo. En todo caso, la reflexión sindical es inseparable de la política, sobre todo cuando se refiere a las grandes cuestiones políticas y económicas que afectan al trabajo y a las relaciones sociales de producción. I am going to refer to the challenges faced by European trade unions in the context of the crisis that the EU is going through, possibly the worst since its creation 60 years ago. I will seek to place the analysis within the framework of the trade unions crisis which, among other factors, results from not yet having found an efficient enough way to face the neoliberal model of the second great globalisation of capitalism. In any case, consideration of the trade unions is inseparable from politics, especially when referring to the major political and economic issues that affect labour and social production relations.
