      The article presents a case study of 31-year-old woman with contact urticaria syndrome (CUS) as an allergic reaction caused by sulfamethoxazole sodium. Topics discussed include presence of sulfamethoxazole sodium in eye drops leads to an allergic process that develops as CUS; utilization of the Shinganryo eye drop developed through Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical; and analysis of CUS development in anaphylaxis with presence of levofloxacin along with sulfamethoxazole as causative allergens.
