This article presents the text of Colorado River Compact, between states of Colorado and Mexico. The major purposes of this compact are to provide for the equitable division and apportionment of the use of waters of Colorado River system, to establish the relative importance of different beneficial uses of water and to promote interstate comity. States of the upper division means states of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming. States of the lower division means states of Arizona, California and Nevada.
