Birth control is truly a basic human right. Individuals should freely make their own decision whether to accept the technology of contraception. Policies should be based on both consensus and logical consideration without coercion or regulation. On the contrary, introduction rationale and careful evaluation should be undertaken before implementing policies into action. The relevance of the policies should be considered in the cultural context, which varies from society to society. The concept of including ethical issues when planning birth control programs is encountered worldwide. This article aims to investigate crucial attempts in bringing out ethics and feasibility as a key issue and at what level the matter is given serious consideration.
