- Abstract:
This study develops an approach to assessing an investment's expected return and level of risk. The approach is used to establish which of three relatively conservative investments is likely to be preferred by a risk-averse investor. The meaning of risk and value, the nature of the distribution of changes in investment value, and measures of inflation are all considered. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
