      The author reflects on the importance of awareness and prompt recognition of the ocular manifestations of Marfan's syndrome (MFS), an autosomal dominant connective tissue disorder caused by mutations in FBN1 gene. Topics include early diagnosis and prompt management of the manifestations that increase life expectancy of the patients, the common manifestations including myopia, ectopia lentis and astigmatism and relevant referrals that may improve patient mortality and morbidity.
