- Abstract:
The author has analyzed term “the God” in the new preamble of the Constitution of Latvia. The nomination of the God in the Constitution has an important legal and philosophical meaning. By this nomination the constitutional legislator limits the omnipotent state power and formally recognizes unwritten constitutional values.
