- Abstract:
The article presents contradictory views by U.S. Senate Committee members regarding the committee bill. According to the members, the Committee bill does not meet the demand for labor reform legislation. It does not fulfill recommendations of President Dwight Eisenhower nor recommendations of the Senate Select Committee on improper activities in the labor or management field. The committee members feels the urgent need for more comprehensive and more effective legislation than the committee bill provides. Then the Congress should closely follow the findings of the McClellan committee.
