The article profiles people whose lives have been damaged by a executive order by U.S. President Donald Trump banning travel to the U.S. by people from seven majority Muslim countries. People profiled include computer science doctoral student Roxana Attar who is separated from her family, Stanford University undergraduate Hadil Mansoor Al-Mowafak who is separated from her husband, and sociology Ph.D. student Aida Nikou on problems with travel for research.
