      The article focuses on drug ixekizumab (Taltz) used for the treatment of psoriasis and the drug was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in March 2016. Topics discussed include Ixekizumab targets a different inflammation molecule than older versions of similar drugs, concerns regarding drugs which suppress the immune system and ixekizumab binds to a molecule called interleukin-17 to stop the inflammation.
