      The paper presents the latest data about rocking horses, traditional toys of the twentieth- century Vilnius region. It also dwells on the craftsmen who made them in Vidutinė village (Švenčionys district), their production techniques, as well as the venues and methods of sale. The paper is based on the information collected from interviews, and from the analysis of rocking horses and their elements from the archives of the Toy Museum. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
