      The article looks at the growth of halal products, or products meeting the requirements of Islamic law, in the context of the increasing number of Muslim consumers globally. It discusses companies providing halal cosmetics products, including Maya Cosmetics and L'Oréal, and reports that under Indonesian law, all foods and other consumable products sold in the country will have to be halal starting in 2019.
