      The article presents an interaction with Randall William Cook, animation supervisor of the Oscar winning motion picture The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. On being asked about his working with the film, he said he was brought in originally to help director Peter Jackson design action sequences for the first film, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. About Peter Jackson he said, Jackson is versatile, multitalented moviemaker. On animators associated with The Lord of the Rings series, he said that, they grew from a crew of 12 animators on the first film to 45 on the third one. Animators delivered 590 animation shots, many with multiple characters.
