The article presents a mixed-methods analysis of a Safer Conception Counseling Toolkit an HIV-endemic setting in Kenya. Topics discussed include importance of safer conception strategies between HIV discordant partners to prevent HIV transmission; components of the toolkit comprising of provider training, counseling guide and safer conception methods brochures; and impact on provider knowledge and confidence and patient knowledge.
