      The article focuses on the literary works of language professor Rensa Boda on the history of humanities, with specific reference to his book "Historia Humanistyki: Zapomniane Nauki" in this regard. Boda explains that the reasons for writing this synthesis is the lack of publication on the history of humanities. Bod poses the question why to date, no history of humanities has been established in the general dimension. The author begins his work on the birth of humanities in China, India and Greece. Then through Hellenism and ancient Rome and early Christianity discusses the path of humanism development. The author wonders over the notion of "humanist sciences" and "humanistic sciences," which have become a single term.
