The article discusses the European American Catholic community of Milwaukee, Wisconsin's efforts to assist Mexican Catholics in the Cristero War of Mexico and Mexican Catholics in Milwaukee from 1924 through 1929, including through assisting in the construct of Mexican Mission of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Milwaukee. Ethnic relations between Catholic Mexican immigrants and European Americans are discussed.
