EDUCATION AND PROTEST: ON THE TRAIL OF THE RATIONALIST AND SYNDICALIST GROUPS AND SCHOOLS AND THE LABOR STRIKES IN SÃO PAULO IN THE SECOND DECADE OF THE TWENTIETH CENTURY. (English)
    • Abstract:
The subject of education and the proposals and educational practices developed and carried out by syndicalist activists, libertarians and socialists in the First Republic became emerging with new perspectives of labor history. Such research object also clashes with recent historiographical aspirations aimed at understanding the labor movement from individual trajectories and micro-historical events, also on networks beyond national borders. In this sense, this article seeks to map some proposals and stemmed educational achievements of the labor movement in São Paulo, first understanding them as ideological strands internationally circulated, but mostly at a local perspective, relating these practices into their own culture class, especially policies , between workers in city environments. • Abstract:
